MOD.IFY was MOD’s inaugural exhibition, attracting 54,520 visitors.
Feeling Human, an exhibit exploring pain perception, and Birds and Bees, an exhibit exploring birds, bees, and navigating sight, both received a Gold Award at the Design Institute of Australia SA/NT Awards in November 2018. Birds and Bees was also awarded the Australian Interior Design Awards Best of the State in May 2019.
Anika Johnstone, MOD.’s first Senior Exhibitions Manager was awarded the Winnovation Award in October 2018 for her work on bringing MOD. to life. The MOD. team responsible for the opening of MOD. were awarded the University of South Australia’s Vice Chancellor Award for Professional Excellence in March 2019.

Provocative, inspiring and sometimes uncomfortable, MOD.IFY showcases research and creative collaborations, interactive exhibits and dynamic programming that invites the curious to explore new ideas at the intersection of art, science and innovation.
