More intelligent machines mean more ability us humans have to offload our work to robots. Why do something when a machine could do it for you? What if we automated everything?

Professor Sarah Pink is an award winning design and futures anthropologist and documentary filmmaker. She is currently Professor and Director of the Emerging Technologies Research Lab at Monash, where she researches the use of new, emerging and possible technologies.
Dr Eric Hsu is a Lecturer in Sociology at the University of South Australia. His work has made contributions to the sociology of sleep, the social theory of disasters, and his research also extends into the social study of robotic technologies. He is the co-creator and host of The Sociology of Everything podcast.
